  • 1999: Joined our team back in the Shell Service Station “era”.
Training - Education - Certificates
  • Accounting Associate Degree, Washtenaw Community College

Born and raised in Ypsilanti with exception of three years of childhood living in Florida. Received my associate degree in Accounting from WCC. I joined the Team back in 1999 when we were still on the Eastside of Ann Arbor, known as Golfside Shell.  I had worked for a similar company for 13 years prior to that.
I married my husband Bill in 1988, Bill, now retired from UPS, and works part time for NAPA Auto Parts until we both start winding down toward retirement.  We have a son who joined the Air Force in 2007 & making it his career. Two daughters who graduated from EMU, one in 2013 with a Major in Communications, Minor in Theatre Media.  The other in 2015 Majoring in Speech Pathology, Minor in Communication and 2017 Masters in Autism Spectrum Disorder.

My “hobby” for over 12 years was “Volleyball Mom”.  However, with all our kids out on their own, my time has shifted to more travel with Bill back and forth up to Gladwin and to Florida plus… helping Brian keep the accounting & finances in order.  Have “laptop will travel”!   Bill & I also spend time assisting our aging parents.  Soon, I’ll be looking for new hobbies to enjoy with my forth coming retirement lifestyle.

Brian Hogue

Owner / Business Manager / Team Builder

Other than my time in the Air Force, I’ve been an Ann Arbor / Saline resident since 1971. I had dreams and visions of owning my own business back in my high school years. In 1980, one year following my Air Force tour, I reached my high school dream of business owner as an owner/operator of a Shell Auto Care on the east side of Ann Arbor. In 2002, after 22 years as a Shell owner/operator, I bought the building in Ann Arbor on Hoover. I sold the Shell Service Station business and moved my auto repair portion to the new “Hoover Street Auto Repair” on Hoover. In 2013, I expanded to a second repair facility, Stadium Auto Service”, focused on German Automotive service and in 2016, a third repair facility, State Street Auto Service, focused on light & medium duty diesel trucks.

  • Owner/Operator providing Auto Repair in Ann Arbor since 1980
  • 2016 opened third location “State Street Auto Service”
  • 2013 opened second location “Stadium Auto Service”
  • 2002 sold the gas business & opened “Hoover Street Auto”
  • 1980 started as a Shell Auto Care owner/operator
  • Served in the US Air Force
Training - Education - Certificates
  • Northwestern Michigan College
  • Huron High School Graduate

During my free time I enjoy golf, tennis, water and snow skiing. I’m also a beginner in ballroom dancing and love to sing… not to be confused with a “talent to sing” … however, I do great job with background vocals for familiar songs on the radio.
